A Game-Changer for Yacht Charter Guests
For travelers looking to experience an authentic Mediterranean lifestyle and sailing, the new direct flight means less travel time and more time on the sea.
Once you land in Split, you’re just 30 minutes from the region’s most popular marinas:
- ACI Marina Split
- Marina Kaštela
- Trogir Marina
From there, you can board your yacht or catamaran the same day and set sail toward the legendary islands of Hvar, Brač, Vis, and Šolta.
Although most yachts in Croatia are available for charter on a Saturday-to-Saturday basis, at Secret Adriatic we also have access to a selection of yachts and catamarans with a flexible charter policy. Some yachts can be booked for Wednesday-to-Wednesday charters or even for shorter periods than a full week. However, the number of such boats is limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred dates.
With over 4,000 charter yachts available across Croatia, it’s no surprise the country is recognized as Europe’s leading yacht charter destination.
Tip for travelers: Book early to secure your preferred yacht — especially for July & August departures when demand is highest.
Dubrovnik Already Linked to New York
United Airlines already operates nonstop seasonal flights from New York to Dubrovnik during the summer months, which clearly shows that the Croatian coast is highly sought after by American travelers.
The new Newark to Split route further expands access to Central Dalmatia, making it even easier to begin your yacht adventure in one of the most scenic regions of the Adriatic.
Why Choose Croatia for Your Next Yacht Charter
Croatia offers an unmatched blend of natural beauty, crystal clear waters, historic towns, and refined cuisine.
Whether you prefer relaxing in quiet bays, exploring UNESCO World Heritage cities such as Split and Trogir, or enjoying vibrant nightlife in Hvar, there is a perfect itinerary for every type of sailor.
As reported by Live and Let’s Fly, United Airlines anticipates strong demand for flights to Split as more travelers from the United States discover the beauty and convenience of the Croatian coast.
