Highlights
Jitterbug, our 2-cabin Bavaria Cruiser 37, is a spirited performer and exceptionally comfortable cruiser — ideal for couples or small families looking to explore the British Virgin Islands. Designed by Farr Yacht Design and built to exacting German standards, Jitterbug blends speed, space, and simplicity, making her a joy to sail whether you’re island-hopping or anchoring in secluded bays.
Proving her performance pedigree, Jitterbug won her class in the 2017 and 2025 BVI Spring Regatta and took second place in 2024, showing she’s as fast as she is fun.
Exterior: Built to Perform, Designed for Comfort
Jitterbug is a quick, responsive, and well-balanced yacht that’s easy to handle short-handed. Her fully battened mainsail and 106% genoa deliver an efficient sail plan, and the single-line reefing system led aft to the cockpit ensures effortless sail control.
The twin helm setup and wide cockpit, comparable to larger 40-footers, allows for excellent visibility on either tack and provides a clear walk-through to the transom. Her drop-down swim platform transforms the stern into a spacious area to swim, board the dinghy, or simply relax by the water.
Interior: Bright, Practical & Charter-Friendly
Below deck, Jitterbug offers a spacious, well-ventilated saloon with 6ft 3in of headroom, LED lighting, and thoughtful touches throughout. Her layout is ideal for two couples or a family, with two private double cabins and a bright, open saloon for relaxing after a day of sailing.
Both the forward V-berth and the aft cabin feature ample storage, hanging closets, and bedside shelving as well as portlights and fans installed throughout the yacht for ventilation. Her cabins offer a comfortable and private retreat at the end of each day.
