Saturday - Setting Sail from Trogir: A Journey Begins

As the sun bathed the port of Trogir in a warm glow, I found myself at the helm of the Lagoon 46, ready to embark on a week-long sailing adventure. It was a role I cherished, having spent my formative years sailing with my own family. This time, however, I was not only the captain but also the host, accompanied by my beloved wife, Jin, who brought her infectious laughter and playful spirit to our sailing odyssey.

Our guests, a lively group of eight from Colombia and Canada, boarded the yacht, their anticipation palpable. We set sail from Trogir, leaving behind the bustling harbor as we headed toward our first destination. After a few hours of navigating the shimmering waters, we found ourselves in the village of Maslinica on the island of Šolta. As the sun began to set, we docked the boat, and our guests were served a delectable dinner on board, savoring the delicate flavors of fish cheeks while relishing the tranquility of the sea.

The following morning, our journey continued towards Vis, an island brimming with natural beauty and intriguing history. Our first stop was Stoncica Bay, boasting one of the few sandy beaches in the area. Moving on, we ventured to Rogacic, where a submarine bunker stood as a haunting relic of the past. Its eerie ambiance and resonating echoes provided the perfect backdrop for impromptu singing sessions, adding a touch of whimsy to our exploration.

As the day drew to a close, we gathered for dinner at Konoba & Bar Lola, savoring the region's flavors.

Monday - Cliff diving, Stiniva Beach, Green Cave, Hvar

With the morning sun casting its warm glow, we set sail, encircling the island of Vis.
